District Council invites suggestions for land suitable for housing
Although the housing plans contained in the new draft Allocations Plan are at an advanced stage, new sites which may be considered for future plans or are suitable for development but which would not be specifically identified in that plan are being sought.
The District Council therefore invites people and organisations to suggest where land in the District could be used for housing, as it carries out its annual assessment of possible sites.
All sites suggested will be assessed to see if they are potentially suitable for development.
The Council stresses that the assessment does not determine whether a site will be allocated for housing development in the future.
If you wish to put forward a site to be considered in this year’s review, download a form from the Council’s web site here or alternatively request a form by contacting Samm Jarman on 01594 812326 or email email@example.com
Forms must be returned by Friday 7 July 2017, to Samm Jarman, Forward Planning Team, Forest of Dean District Council, High Street, Coleford, Gloucestershire, GL16 8HG.
If you have a site or sites that were considered in previous years, you do not need to do anything unless you wish to make changes to the site, or remove it from the study.
Any further sites put forward may be considered on a long-term basis and retained within the Council’s records for the future.
All information supplied to the District Council will be publicly available.
