In addition to collecting materials at kerbside, the Forest of Dean District Council provides a number of local recycling sites. The table below gives you details about the location and types of material that can be accepted at our sites as well as some run by other local organisations. A wide range of materials can also be recycled at the Household Recycling Centre at Broadwell. This service is provided by Gloucestershire County Council.
Currently, we can only accept type 1 and type 2 plastic bottles at our recycling sites. Find out more about plastics.
Tetra Paks (waxed cardboard cartons typically used for fruit juice, milk and soups) can be recycled at dedicated banks (please see below).
