Syringes pose a significant health risk and need to be disposed of safely. Please contact our street warden team immediately on 01594 810000 to report an incident. It is strongly advised that you do not attempt to pick up the syringe yourself. Do not place syringes in any general refuse sacks or bins - you may not only be risking your own health but that of the operatives that pick up the waste.
Sharps boxes, available from your local GP surgery, need to be returned to your local surgery/pharmacy.
Clinical waste cannot be taken to the Household Recycling Centre.
