Making a Complaint

Where someone believes that a development is being undertaken without the benefit of planning permission, or where permission has been granted and the development does not appear to have been undertaken in accordance with that permission, you should notify the planning enforcement team here at the council.

You will be asked to provide as much information as possible, including the name and address of the person committing the suspected breach and what you believe that breach to be. You will also be asked to provide your name, address and telephone number. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be revealed to anyone.

You will subsequently be advised of the outcome of the initial investigation.
