Fitness Suites

Our Forest Leisure fitness suites at Lydney, Coleford, Newent and Sedbury are fully air-conditioned and offer a full range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment.

Our friendly, professional staff are always ready to help and our fitness suite is accessible to all people aged 14 years upwards, whether you are able bodied or a disabled person.  All ages and types of people use the facility and if you expect it to be full of lycra clad body beautifuls, then sorry you'll be hugely disappointed! 

Prior to becoming a member of our fitness suite an assessment and induction is required.  The assessment is non-intrusive and is designed to determine your current activity levels.  During your one-to-one induction the fitness instructor will show you how to use all of the equipment safely and effectively so you get the most benefit from your visits.  Once your induction has been completed the instructor will then design a suitable personal exercise programme just for you.

We offer a range of membership packages to suit everyone and several payment options to suit your budget. There may be a second person in your household who wants to opt for one of the membership packages. If this is the case you’ll save even more by choosing a joint membership. The only two conditions of a joint membership are that both people must live at the same address and you must both choose the same membership option. 

At the time of your induction if you pay your first membership instalment and commit to at least three months of one of our direct debit membership options, not only will you benefit from excellent savings but we''ll also induct you for FREE.  Another benefit is that when you take up one of our Direct Debit or Annual membership options you can swim at any of our four Forest Leisure swimming pools at Newent, Cinderford, Coleford and Lydney during public sessions completely FREE.
