The list below shows information on public registers that are covered by the EU Services Directive . This is an initiative that aims to make it easier for companies and authorities in the European Union to do business with each other.

Please be aware that there may be a charge for obtaining copies of some of these registers.

Licensing Act 2003

This Act requires us to hold records of:-

• All Premises Licences issued by the Authority
• All Club Premises Certificates issued by the Authority
• All Peronal Licenses issued by the Authority
• All Temporary Event Notices served on the Authority
• All other matters as required by Section 8 and Schedule 3 of the Act.

Gambling Act 2005

This Act requires us to hold records of:-

• All Premises Licences issued by the Authority
• All Temporary Use Notices given to the Authority under the Act.
• All Small Society Lotteries registered by the Authority
• All Club Gaming and Club Machine Permits issued by the Authority
• All Licensed Premises Gaming Machine Permits issued by the Authority
• All Prize Gaming Permits issued by the Authority
• All Family Entertainment Centre Gaming Machine Permits issued by the Authority

Town Police Clauses Act 1847 & Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976

This Act requires us to hold records of:-

• All Hackney Carriage Vehicles licensed by the Authority
• All Hackney Carriage Drivers licensed by the Authority
• All Private Hire Vehicles licensed by the Authority
• All Private Hire Drivers licensed by the Authority
• All Private Hire Operators licensed by the Authority

This Act requires us to hold records of:-

• All persons registered by the Authority to carry on the practise of acupuncture
• All premises registered by the Authority to be used for carrying out the practise of acupuncture
• All persons registered by the Authority to carry on the business of tattooing, ear-piercing or electrolysis
• All premises registered by the authority to be used for the carrying on of the business of tattooing, ear-piercing or electrolysis
