6 Stage 1 Concept Designs were received on 17th February 2012 and 3 of these have now been short-listed to go through to Stage 2 – the detailed design stage of the competition.
The shortlisted architects are: (Please click on the entrants name to view their submissions)
• Andrew Davy Architects and Robert Bray Associates
• Architype Ltd
• Peter Hayes
The redevelopment of the Lawnstone site, with a new retailer already interested, presents a unique opportunity to contribute towards the regeneration of Coleford as an historic centre in the Forest of Dean, via the contribution of an active ground floor frontage, with improved visual and pedestrian links to the town centre.
