Proposals Map

The Proposals Map below shows the Core Strategy and the Cinderford Northern Quarter Area Action Plan (AAP). Tthe Core Strategy and the AAP were adopted in February 2012; these are the up to date proposals map replacing the Local Plan Maps.

The map is very similar to the Local Plan Maps in that the majority of the land use proposals do not change, so for example, the various settlement boundaries are unchanged from the Local Plan. Some additional material, for example, ‘areas at risk from flooding’ are also contained on the map. Allocations that are substantially complete or are under construction have also been updated.

The map will be reviewed following the adoption of the Core Strategy and the AAP as part of the Allocations DPD. This will review all of the remaining Local Plan allocations including the settlement boundaries; though it does not follow that they will necessarily change. The principle will be that the allocations DPD must reflect the Core Strategy and the map will be required to provide an up to date representation of this and whatever allocations are made in the DPD.
