The Chairman to welcome Councillor Simon Roberts the new Councillor for the Bromsberrow and Dymock Ward following the district election on 2 May 2013.

The Chairman to announce that a briefing from Martin Surl, Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire has been arranged for Councillors on Wednesday, 10 July 2013 at 6pm in the Council Chamber.

The Chairman to congratulate Newent and Drybrook Rugby Clubs for their outstanding performances at the Junior and Senior rugby finals at Twickenham on 4 May 2013.

To note report LD.463 setting out the notifications received under Regulation 8 of the Local Government (Committees and Political Groups) Regulations 1990.

To consider report LD.462 and allocate committee seats to political groups and determine appointments to committees and sub-committees for the civic year 2013/14.

Please note that the council may be asked under this item to approve alternative arrangements to strict political proportionality for appointments to committees and other bodies in accordance with Regulation 20 of the Local Government (Committee and Political Groups) Regulations 1990.

To appoint a member and deputy to the Gloucestershire County Council Police and Crime Panel for the 2013/14 civic year.

To approve the appointment of two Independent Persons under the Localism Act 2011 as detailed in report LD.464.

To approve the recommended responses to representations received as detailed in report PH.168 relating to the Allocations Development Plan Document.

To approve the recommendations in report PH.169 revision to the Local Development Scheme (Lydney AAP and Allocations DPD).

The Annual report for the Strategic Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the Standards Panel will be presented to the Full Council meeting on 18 July 2013.

The Leader of the Council and the chairman of the scrutiny committee to report on recent activities, followed by questions from members. Depending on time the Chairman will rule and only take one question per member relating to reports.
