Queen's Diamond Jubilee

To mark 60 years of the Queen's reign, the Diamond Jubilee takes place this year. The celebrations will centre on an extended bank holiday weekend between Saturday 2 June and Tuesday 5 June.

Events will be held across the Forest of Dean district over that bank holiday weekend.

Forest of Dean District Council and the Forestry Commission are working together on a Diamond Jubilee Redwood Grove near Beechenhurst and opposite Cannop to give a long-lasting reminder of the Diamond Jubilee. These will be planted in the autumn. Residents, businesses and organisations are being invited to sponsor paths and benches on the site. Royal Forest Jubilee

Saturday 2 June. 2pm - 10pm. Speech House. Includes family fun, entertainment, Proms in the Park and Fireworks. Tickets £8 adults, under 16s free. For further information and tickets visit www.forestjubilee.co.uk.
