Community defibrillator grants 2015-17

A grant of up to £500 is currently available for Parishes, Wards and Towns towards the cost of community defibrillators. The total cost for the unit, external casing and training for local residents is £1,550 + VAT.

Community Grants 2016-17 

A grant of up to £500 for non-constituted groups and up to £2,000 for constituted groups is currently available for not for profit voluntary and community groups.

Funding priorities are:

  • Building a stronger, healthier, more inclusive and welcoming community
  • Activities affecting the very young (under 11's)
  • Projects tackling an ageing population/healthy ageing, reducing loneliness and social isolation
  • Initiatives for the vulnerable or disadvantaged members of the community
