Dementia awareness

The Forest of Dean District Council can provide interactive, fun and informal Dementia Awareness training sessions to organisations and community groups.

Sessions encourage relaxed and open discussions by using the Dementia Friends Board Game, developed in partnership with:

  • Gloucestershire County Council
  • 2gether NHS Foundation Trust
  • Forest of Dean Alzheimer's Society
  • Crossroads Forest of Dean
  • Newent Association for the disabled

Sessions are informal and can be tailored to suit the needs of your group or organisation.
