If every adult in the Forest of Dean spent just £5 a week in local shops instead of online or at large supermarkets, it would add over £9 million to our local economy. That’s money that supports jobs, keeps our towns vibrant, and helps create a stronger, more sustainable community ❤️.
Love Your High Street Christmas 2026
Forest of Dean District Council is pleased to launch Love Your High Street to celebrate the independent businesses that make our town high streets special across Cinderford, Coleford, Lydney and Newent this Christmas.
The campaign encourages residents and visitors to support our local independent businesses during the festive season by shopping locally and exploring our town centres.
How does it work?
Getting involved is simple:
- Collect a reward card from a participating business
- Spend £5 or more in a participating business and receive one campaign sticker on your reward card
- Collect six stickers to completed your card
- Add your contact details to the back of the card and return it to be entered into the prize draw
Where can I collect a reward card?
Reward cards can be collected from any participating business listed below.
When does the campaign take place?
The campaign runs from 9 November to 18 December 2026, giving you six weeks to collect your stickers and complete your card.
What are the prizes?
Three winners will be selected at random, with each winner receiving a hamper of locally sourced gifts and products.
When will the winners be announced?
The prize draw will take place during the week commencing 21 December 2026. Winners will be contacted by 23 December 2026 using the details provided on their reward card.
Which businesses are taking part?
Participating businesses will display a Love Your High Street poster in their window and are listed below.
You can collect stickers from any participating business across the four towns. Multiple stickers may be collected from the same business, provided they are earned through separate qualifying purchases or visits.
Where do I return my completed card?
Completed cards must be handed in by Friday 18 December 2026 to one of the following locations:
- Any of the four Town Council offices
- Reception at Forest of Dean District Council

Love Your High Street 2026 Prize Draw - Terms & Conditions
The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
To enter, participants must collect the required number of stickers from participating businesses and submit a completed reward card with all six stickers during the campaign period and before the competition closes (date TBC).
Reward cards must be fully completed with the entrant's name and either an email address and/or telephone number so that winners can be contacted.
Only one entry per completed reward card is permitted.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
Employees, owners and immediate family members of participating businesses, Forest of Dean District Council, participating Town Councils, and anyone directly involved in the administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter.
Entries received after the published closing date will not be entered into the draw.
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.
Winners will be contacted using the details provided on their reward card. If a winner cannot be contacted / does not respond within 14 days, the organisers reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or is believed to be fraudulent.
Personal information supplied as part of the prize draw will be used solely for administering the competition and contacting winners, in accordance with the campaign Privacy Notice (link).
Completed cards will be securely destroyed once winners have been selected and prizes distributed.
The organisers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
The organisers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond their control make this necessary.
Entry into the prize draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The organiser of the prize draw is Forest of Dean District Council in partnership with participating Town Councils and businesses.
