Development Management Committee

The Development Management Committee generally deals with larger or more complicated applications. Applications are decided by councillors with advice from the planning officers. These meetings take place monthly.

You are welcome to attend any Development Management Committee meeting and view the agenda papers which are available five working days before the meeting.

The Development Management Committee meetings are also streamed live for you to watch.

Speak at a Development Management Committee meeting

We encourage public speaking at Development Management Committee meetings. You need to:

  • comment in writing on the application during the consultation period
  • register to speak by midday on the Monday before the meeting

For more information on speaking at the meetings visit the Public participation page.
